Join us in bridging the digital divide! Attend the NCW Tech Help Digital Navigator Launch event on April 27 from 11:30am – 1:00pm at Big Bend Community College. Learn how we’re addressing the digital divide in North Central Washington and how you can get involved.
Up to 19% of households in North Central Washington lack an internet connection, with a further 10% to 23% of households not having a smartphone. Achieving digital equity requires a proactive approach towards digital inclusion. In its first year, NCW Tech Help will provide digital navigation training across the communities of Chelan, Douglas, Grant, and Okanogan Counties and the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, and distribute a limited number of smartphones.
Organizations opting to join our efforts and have their staff receive the digital navigation training will receive a monetary grant of $500 per staff member. Please register for the Digital Navigator Launch to learn more about NCW Tech Help’s goals and objectives.
Digital Navigator training workshops start in April. If you’d like to participate, please use our interest survey link to receive more information.
Join us in building digital equity in North Central Washington at this launch event in Moses Lake. During this event, we’ll also offer a complimentary lunch as well.
