Demystifying Startup Investing

Demystifying Startup Investing

What curious learners want to know about investing in scalable startup companies: Is it right for me? Am I right for it?

About this event

Angel investing used to just be for the rich, now nearly anyone can be an angel investor providing much-needed capital to bring new companies to market.

Learn the basics of angel investing, how SP3NW’s grant-funded courses may benefit you and your community, and three reasons to consider angel investing as part of your well-balanced portfolio:

  1. Make a difference: Angels leverage their expertise to help new businesses grow and succeed, changing the economic future of an entire region by investing in small startup companies that eventually employ dozens or hundreds of people.
  2. Diversify your portfolio: While angel investing can be risky, when angels get a home run, it can provide a 10X or more return. Plus many early-stage investments qualify for favorable tax treatment.
  3. Have fun: Working with energetic entrepreneurs and getting a front-row seat for mold-breaking innovations is fun! Nothing is more exciting than the spark of a promising new idea.

Spend an hour with us and you will walk away with a solid understanding of this exciting, game-changing investment webinar.
