Meet Mayor Nadine Woodward
Nadine Woodward was born and raised in Washington State. She is an award-winning broadcast journalist, mother, business owner and proud Spokanite.
After broadcast news jobs in Idaho, Nadine arrived in Spokane in 1990, first working at KREM, then moving to KXLY in 2010. During her television career, Nadine made the Spokane community the focus of her work, both on and off camera. She supported, emceed events, fundraised and served as honorary chair for a multitude of causes, including Spokane County Alzheimer’s Association, Susan G Komen Race for the Cure, Go Red for Women/American Heart Association, Anna Ogden Hall, Teen Challenge, Rescue 4 All/Inland Northwest Animal Rescue, Women Helping Women, March of Dimes, Red Cross Heroes, Children’s Miracle Network, Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital, and Coats 4 Kids.
Nadine has a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Portland.
